AVENGER, IT'S COMING "Sources have told CompetitionPlus.com that the Dodge Avenger Pro Stock body is in the final stages and chassis builders could take deliver of the newest Mopar by September 1". ________________________________________________ It will be interesting if this will be in the Gapp & Roush 'Tijuana Taxi' configuration or if NHRA will allow a NASCAR type 2dr. abomination

'09 rule NHRA rule book. Section 14 Pro Stock....
"Reserved for 2004 or later NHRA-accepted 2 door or 4 door coupe or sedan (domestic or foregin) production vehicles".

What you saw would have been a Sebring. There were 2doors at one time but the last one IIRC was built has a 2003. I work where they are made.

the sebring convertible has a retractable hard top as an option, they are still 2 doors, and still made today.
