Is it absolutely necessary to notch the K-frame to install the lo-pro 7Qt.Milodon pan into a 64 Plymouth Savoy? I'm not against cutting it but if I don't have to I would rather not spend the time cutting and filling.

Moroso makes a 7qt. especially for those year vehicles. I believe the sump is set back a bit more and there is a notch for the drag link. Here's a drawing.

Thanks but I already have one of those fabricated aluminum pans that look just like a Milodon pan.I am getting ready to install it and was just wondering.

I put the 66 up Moroso 8 qt in my 65 with no problesm.I did make a small notch on the pass side just to have a little more clearance when I had the crappy rubber OE mounts,Now that I have the polys I wouldnt have done it or worried about it.I probally had3/9 clearance before I made a tiny adjustment. Now it like 1/2 or 5 /8.You would never notice it unless I showed you it.That was 12 years ago and no problems.Rocky

That will also move the Motor down and back , later B and E body K member in a pre 1965 B body, and Stock and SS trick for better traction
