Just the clutch needs to be changed for the different splines, all else should be the same.
Probally not the front bearing retainers are bigger on the 18 spline than most of the 23 spline, the key here is "most" , some are and some weren't Worst case scenario is if your using the adapter spacer in the scattersheild to make the small front bearing retainer center in the bellhousing is you will have to remove it No big deal, really Scott, not trying to put you down or anything like that

Throw out bearing need changed also beside the clutch plate. The 18 spline bearing is a lot bigger than 23.You should be able to bolt the 10.95 Plate to a 10.5 flywheel. The bearing adapter might fit depends what size retainer the SC has now. They are avaliable thru Lakewood.Rocky

That's what I am hoping for... As far as the bearing retainer, it looks like the opening in the bellhousing will accomodate it & as cab said I might have to open up the spacer a bit- not a biggie.
If that's all- I'm laughin. Now I've got to go find a 18 spline 4 speed
