Quick Question...I just received my replacement door hinges for my 66 Plymouth Satellite project. I have a factory Service Manuel [FSM] and the procedure/technique is not going to be a problem understanding. However...there is no mention as to if I need to remove the doors along with the fenders completely or can I accomplish this one hinge at a time with everything attached. Granted it would be easier if the fenders were removed but with the door open and supported I can get to all the attaching bolts. What have any of you all found to be the easiest and most solid way of doing this. The car has already been painted so I guess you could say I didn't plane to get this part of the project done before painting. As always MOPARTS rules.....

open the door, put a floor jack under the door with a 2X4 to protect the bottom of the door. Jack it up only to support the door. Replace the top, then replace the bottom.... Done

there is a door support thing/cradle that pins to a floor jack. It is padded and prevents the door from moving.

Using that and some of that foam pipe insulation, I pulled the door to do work on my hinges.

To remove them looked like the fender had to go, but that is on an early b.

Thanks Guys...It looks like a doable process to me. I am fabing up a cradle out of wood for the door support and jack. Again MOPARTS rules....
