Time to plan the winter rebuild.
This is for my 440 Dart bracket car.
Ported Edelbrock Performer heads (300 cfm @.600)
1.6 rockers
11/1 compression
EFI with tunnel ram
2" Pro-Parts headers
3000 lbs w/driver
4.10 gear 30 inch tire
5200 stall
Car has run a best of 10.21 with a Scott Brown flat tappet
I want to step up to a solid roller
Would love to dip into the nines
Any suggestions??

Dave

Give Dwayne at Porter Racing Heads a call and let him supply with the cam/lifters/springs that you'll need. That way you'll only need to spend the money once.

What kind of rockers are you using? What are the specs of the current cam?

I think the old cam was a pretty good choice. Your 11 CR will limit the amount of duration I would put in it. Maybe 10 degrees more at 0.050" at the most. But with a roller profile, you can add more lift.

How would you describe the current performance? ie launch power, mid track, top end mph, etc.
