Can I do this for a street car or is this strictly for racing only without mufflers? Did I just answer my own question?

more of a race thing most mufflers have to much back pressure and will burn out the one way check valves that are used in a evac system then it will pressureize the crank case.

They will work with 3" exhaust and a high flow muffler like the Dynomax ultra flow welded.
You need a minimum of a PCV and an open breather in the other valve cover street otherwise.

I installed Pan-Evacs (Crankcase Evacuation Systems) on both my '71 Charger and my '79 Jeep CJ5 w/ Factory AMC 304 V8.

The '71 Charger has 3 1/2-inch dual-exhaust and Dynomax free flowing mufflers, (not all that restrictive) so the Pan-Evac draws a fair vacuum.

The Jeep engine has headers and 3-inch Dual exhaust.
