Looks like you could use a touch more air pressure
in the slicks to help keep it down

Very well could be.... I'm not sure... but that scoop
is large enough to suck in small kids.... LOL
needs a sign/lettering on it "KEEP SMALL CHILDREN CLEAR"

Unless there is a blower hiding under that scoop, that's an A/FD with a very large injector throttle blade assembley between the scoop and intake.

It almost looks like there is, and the wing thats on it is closer to what the blown alky guys run; the injected nitro ones are usually designed for more downforce.

It is an injected nitro car. I believe he won TAD at the Division 7 race here. IIRC they said the car is built/maintained at a high school's shop program. It was a new "experimental" injection system, at least that was the story.
