Does anyone have an assembly drawing or just a few good photos of how the hinge area of these seats was originally assembled... When I got the seats I'm working on they were apart & I'd like to get the washers all positioned correctly...

I have four thin fiber washers & two thick rubber washers bonded to steel washers, I suspect the thick washers go on the latch side to properly position the latch so it won't cut the upholstery but I'd like to know for sure... Thanks!!!

try 69runner.net or something like that...they have a FSM online for 69B's that might help.

Randy, on my 67 coronet each seat had a thin fiber washer between the hinge and the seat bottom.. I tried using some thicker rubber washers and they tended to grab and twist the seat material with them as the seat back moved from back to front... Again this is on my 67, yours could be different..... Rick

Thanks both of ya! I looked around the roadrunner site as well as B Bodies only, no luck.. Rick, I agree the fiber washers are there to prevent chaffing between the vinyl & the hinge point.. But I have these two rubber/metal bonded washer thingys that came with these seats & I'm pretty sure they are stock.. So..I'm asking.. FWIW a couple of my fiber washers are rough & I'm looking for a decent replacment so if anyone has a suggestion... I've looked at McMaster Carr & theirs aren't quite right but I'll probably wind up using them if nothing better comes along..

I ended up using some gasket material and punched my own. A pain...
