I am at a decision point in my motor build, I have aluminum mopar magnum heads and M1 intake I can do a little home porting install my 1.7 mopar roller rockers and have a complete aluminum top end or I can sell all of that and pay a profesionall head porter to build me a set of stage 3 ported magnum or EQ heads with bigger valves that will flow quite a bit more than what I already have and I have another intake to use also. What would you guys do? Would the extra power be worth it for the heavier heads? I have a set of the factory magnum rockers I can use so I don't have to spend more $$$ on the valve train.

My short block is a 414 71 340 stroker with 20 CC wiseco pistons mopar forged crank and crower billet I beam rods. I have a XE 268 cam I would use with the aluminum heads but I could probably afford another cam if I sell it with the top end and get a better one for the iron heads.

Help me make a descision, I want gobs of tq from about 1500-6000 if thats possible. Car cruises aroun 2000-2500 and will see a lot of street time because I have to drive it 4 hrs to the nearest strip.

I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

If 6k is the max rpm your shootin for than cleaning up the heads you have will work, cam will dictate the rpm from there
