I'm looking for lightweight hood springs for the AAR fiberglass hood on my 71' Duster 340. I have been searching the net for a manufacturer replacement but with no luck. Thinkin' maybe there's an interchange out there somewhere?

thanks,
Floyd

A member here sells them in one of the for sale sections on this board. And I understand that Dodge Daytona FWD cars have hood springs that will work with the A body hinges.Don't know for a fact, just what I was told.

They sell the normal style springs - Dusters need those flat circular watch-style springs.

...or contact Herb Beer (herbbeer at yahoo.com). He can rework your originals for glass hoods. Good guy.
