Hi everyone,
I am taking the a904 out of my 71 dart. Everything is disconnected accept the torque converter bolts. it is being safely held in place. I have it in neutral but cant seem to turn the converter to get to the bolts. battery and starter are disconnected so i cant bump it over. help

put a scoket on the front balancer bolt and turn clock-wise and it will spin. a helper helps.

remove the starter and pry it over with the tip of a screw driver

use the block edge for leverage,stick tip of flat screw driver in teeth of ring gear on verter

not that hard unless an engine is locked up..

starter has to come off any ways,a small c-clap will help hold the verter in the tranz while you man handle it out from under the car

And take the spark plugs out.
