It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

The flag entombed with the car was from 1957, not 1907, BTW. It was a 48 star. And, FYI, Oklahoma wasn't recognized on the 46 star flag until November 16, 1907 - , after the June 15 date. Just a bit of trivia. In 1907, on June the 15th, a correct flag to make it a 100 year flag for the enearthing, would have had 45 stars.

Several people have wondered how long the protective bag had been torn open. I believe I know the exact time that it occured. I believe it happened at the very moment that DC gave the Plymouth name the ax! It was just more than the old girl could stand.

I'm sad to see how this turned out I had hoped the car would have been in better condition but after seeing the water lines in the container I knew it was going to be bad.
I have thought of my late grandfather(he worked for the city of Tulsa)all this week and I have to think that he followed this event back in 1957 because he was a loyal dodge man.

For now, though, here are two pics from my cell phone.

Pretty cool, they painted it pretty quick too, considering it went into the ground copper/white and now it's red/white.
