I have a slightly modified 360 Magnum motor, 400 HP on the dyno. It is basicaly a street cruiser with an occasional trip to the track. What type oil do you guys recommend. I am about to change the oil for the first time since it was built. The builder used Royal Purple to break in the motor and on the dyno. It is now time to change the oil.

Thanks,

FWIW, I have the MP Crate 360/380 and have been running 10W-40 for 11 years. I called the Tech Line when I bought the motor and they said that it was ok.

In your climate I would have to agree with the 10-40. I would use the cheapest oil I can find that is a detergent type and change it every 3000
