twister360 OP mopar T Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 406 Houma, Louisiana	I have a slightly modified 360 Magnum motor, 400 HP on the dyno. It is basicaly a street cruiser with an occasional trip to the track. What type oil do you guys recommend. I am about to change the oil for the first time since it was built. The builder used Royal Purple to break in the motor and on the dyno. It is now time to change the oil. Ron_M top fuel Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 2,415 Connecticut	FWIW, I have the MP Crate 360/380 and have been running 10W-40 for 11 years. I called the Tech Line when I bought the motor and they said that it was ok. Common sense is a flower that does not grow in everybody's garden

HotRodDave I Live Here H Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 12,419 Kalispell Mt.	In your climate I would have to agree with the 10-40. I would use the cheapest oil I can find that is a detergent type and change it every 3000 I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!
