OK, who here really thought the car was going to survive in pristine condition?
If you know anything about concrete, you know it does not hold back water, no matter how you coat it.
IMHO, the car survived in better condition than I ever thought it would. Even though she is covered with 50 years of mud, she is still beautiful.
And, I enjoyed the folksy people who emceed at the unveiling.

I would wash it over and over again, not disturbing the host. See what is under the mud a sediment.
The trunk is gone, I'm sure the floors are gone, but the car doesn't seem as bad as I thought it could have been. I want to see the car!!!!

I'm impressed it still even looks like a '57 Plymouth.

As for Boyd promoting his shop, the old guy MC'ing the thing told Boyd to put a plug in at one point.

With all those people on the stage, I wonder how many made off with a free souviner?

Enjoyed it for the history, a bit disappointed with the show.

Did I understand the hosts say the car was going to the local car show ?

I'd be afraid to even trailer it, not knowing if the thing would pull apart or have the wheels / axles go right thru the rest of the car

Yeah, the dang car will end up in a meuseum somewhere. Looks like it could be saved, damm a good cleaning might reveal a pretty nice body. 50 freeakin years under water , dang.

The prowler they buried is in a welded tube, too bad they did not do that here.

You guys that are there take some pictures of the undercarriage, I still don't understand why the back sagged and not the front.

Rear of the springs are probably sitting up in the trunk, that would be my guess?

Well, Boyd's show. Shop, show, same difference? MC told Boyd to tell people what the name of his show was and what channel it was on.

That car's related to Christine, so I'm sure it will be perfect by morning, then she might plow right over Boyd & the crew on its way to E-bay.
