Does any FI guru know what the app. VE of a warm Mopar V8 is at idle? Im toying with the idle Pulse width of an injector and the idle VE plays a huge part in how big of an injector I can go with without getting out of the tunable zone at idle. I have a cam that is probably on a 114 CL and about a 312 Duration (254 @ .050) about a .580 lift and wqill be running a 1000CFM TB. All values are app. as this is a homegrown FI experiment, mostly all on paper as of yet.

Check this idea out, 2 160 lb injectors (or 4 80's or 8 40's) inside a gutted Predator carb. No spray bar or air doors, only the throttle plates and the 2 injectors inside the fuel bowl mounted at a 45 angle, with the nozzles projecting into the bore. 43 psi fuel pump and a Megasquirt ECU running from a laptop for initial tuning. Idea realized when I saw the Wilson Manifolds V-power FI setup and the pricey one that looks like a long Demon Carb that is an all in one FI setup.
