IMHO,......time for a new intake manifold, you shouldn't have side to side movement like that, generally all that's needed is just the valley gasket to seal an intake, stock or aftermarket, yes some applications may require additional intake gaskets, you are sure you did a proper install?,.....valley pan first, then side gaskets?, then manifold,.....some guys make the mistake of put the gaskets on the ports first then the valley cover...and drop a gasket into the valley? . milling heads and the block affect the manifold so dont think its the manifold thats the problem
Possibility, but not knowing the history of the manifold, IT may have been milled also,....seen plenty of good manifolds ruined because they were milled, or milled incorrectly?,....just a possibility,.....esp haveing to double stack gaskets on both sides,...IMHO, not good!

did they reface the deck or mill the heads
oblong the bolt holes
put antiseize on the top of the intake gaskets
put the manifold on and drive it put some heat cycles into it
pull the manifold off the antiseize will show you a pattern where its sitting
I bet you the intake bolts are wedgeing against the manifold and not sitting rigth
pay attention to the four corners of the rails they too will hang up the manifold

o.k ill give that a try first.if its off how will i know how much to mill? i wont be able to do anything till early next week,so ill let you guys know whats up then ,this is great keep the tips comming guys .
Take it from someone that's been down this road. Do the basics first, you may not have to mill anything. There's another way to seal an intake that involves cutting off the runners on the tin.

When milling heads it is nver (except under extreme circumstances) to mill the intake manifold. It is recommended to mill the intake side of the head. Milling the intake makes teh intake specfic to that engine set up. Milling the intake side of the heads makes either or usable with other combos without further milling. In your situation slightly oblonginh the intake mounting holes will suffice. You will NEVER notice any difference in performance with such a slight difference. Very likely would need a dyno to tell the differnce as it very likely would not even effect the et enough to be noticable.

any chance this is not a 440 intake ?????
That was my first thought. Do you really have a "B" manifold?
