Call Reese Auto Electric in Maysville, KY Not sure if shipping will bust up the deal but they do ALL of my starter and alt work PERIOD Maybe they will have a core on the shelf and won't cost a ton compared to the shipping
I want my fair share

A rebuild and a restoration are two different things.
Dixie does restoration work, the finest I've seen to date. You can not compare them to your corner rebuilders prices.
scott, i definitely agree about the rebuild and restoration. right now though, cash and time dictate that i just get it running correctly.
i'm using someone else's alternator that i need to get back to them, and restoration is usually not a quick process, not to mention the cash.
that will come later...
