Bought a NIB MSD distributor but It had no manual...whatis the factory default advance set at? anyone know?

BTW...how convenient is it that MSD only shows the 2 wire mag pick-up connection to their own box but not point ot point schematically (like a MP diagram)...I'm adapting it to the Mopar Chrome box ignition....Do I remember right it's MSD Orange to the MP black and MSD Violet to MP Orange or the other way around? The last Time I did this I had an MP Harness/ECU tied-in as a back-up (there seemedto be a bad run of 6AL's at the time)...Is there a schematic anywhere in the archives, the reluctor is just a mag switch, the polarity (as far as the Dizzy is concerned) may not even matter.

I have run MP orange chrome and gold boxes the gold is junk the others ok but the MSD 6 and 7 series boxes are the only way to go they really get the job done
