Dad just got a new work van, a 2009 Caravan.
Long story short, he works in NYC and having Satellite radio gets extremely poor reception without having a radio antenna interconnect for the antenna of the satellite unit. On his old 2007 van, I installed it for him. Now, I'm 2600 miles away and can't really help, except for asking you folks.
He is perfectly capable of ripping into the dash, which is most likely what I would do if I were there. But I feel a little more comfortable about telling him to do that if someone here knows exactly how to go about getting to the back of the radio without damaging the surrounding dash components.
I'll attach a picture to show exactly what he's working with:

You need to remove the storage bin from lower part of console, there is a few plastic screws on each side then you can get to screws that hold on bezel around radio. Then if you look above radio you will see 2 access plugs that need to be removed and screws removed, then push up on top piece and you will be able to get to the other screws that hold bezel around radio
Thanks a lot man. Really appreciate that!

I agree shouldn't take no more than ten minutes.
