You can adjust the secondary throttle blades, once again you don't want to expose more than .050" of the transfer slot. If you can't get your idle speed correct or lean enough without exposing more than .050" of either the primary or secondary transfer slots, drill a small hole in the throttle blades. Start small, .080" and work up in tine increments.

Try adjusting th idle mixture screws in to 1/4 to 3/4 of a turn out from all the way in one at time, leave the ones adjusted in until all four are adjusted that way or adjust them like that with the motor shut off. Make sure and let the motor idle long enough to clean the unburnt gas out of the intake before adjusting them anymore You should be able to kill the motor by shutting the fuel feed off by adjusting the idle mixture screws in to lean to allow the motor to run, make sure the throttle blades are not open enough to allow the motor to run off of the transition or primary cicuits, just the idle circuit Let us know if that works or not

The blades both front and rear should show the transfer slot as a rectangle. That would be the initial setup. You could use a vaccum gauge and adjust the idle circuit to get the most vaccum. Sometimes its not easy to hear when the motor idles with good afr. Off course you want all screws equal turned. You whant the highest vaccum reading at about 1,5 turns out from seated. If its far off at 1,5 turns you would want to increase idle air bleed size. How does it run when just off idle before the mains start? What kind of carb and metering plates? replaceble air bleeds?
