Not sporting quite as much as FY1TA's 540" world block combo, but just as fun for me.....

Picked up my 451 pieces from the machine shop yesterday, ready to assemble the short block. Balanced & cut to a zero deck for 10.5:1 with a .574 lift solid flat tappet cam. Saving now for a set of Stealth heads. My dream of having a real motor in my car is beginning to look like a reality. This bullet should be ready to install this winter.

many years of heavy use

fred, i do not doubt the heavy use story, i just hope there was no abuse of your position as the owner operator of the said wood.
