The spy cameras were not operating at the time.
Here is the scene:
While walking down a hill, I go to return the phone to my pocket [and miss]. Phone falls on the ground and bounces so it is perfectly positioned under the sole of my leading foot, just before it touches ground. WHOOSH goes evetS's leading foot out from under him, and he performs a painful split while crumpling to the ground. Beside him can be seen the two halves of his late phone.
Down to just a blue car now.

Just think how funny it would have been for me to call him just as the x-ray tech was getting "involved" with the search..

Neither hill-adjacent location.
I have the phone forwarded temporarily to a terrorist [aka Tracfone] phone.
I can get my calls just fine, but not texts (an important warning, given how frequently you text me...).
I didn't know if you were a text-sorta getter....it sure is easy with my new phone though.
Oh...and CCC is at the bottom of a hill.....do we need to get you some form of safety equipment before going there next?
