I believe you bought a sending unit that can be used for fuel injection as well. I did the same thing for my 69 Coronet 500. I just blocked the extra line off with a small piece of hose and a clamp around a bolt.It worked fine.

One line goes to the vapor line that is supposed to be in the trunk and then goes back down, the other one goes to a short stub line that goes to the shock crossmsmber and is also a vent. If the tank is not vented it will implode as you suck the fuel out. the second line from the sender is the return line from the filter on the engine, and is used on Hemi and 440 cars. Here is pic someone posted on Moparts of their install.

It matters a lot, hook them up backward and you get fuel draining out of the lines when your tank is better than half full. Go to the "lift off hood forum", there is a whole string on this... http://a12mopar.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1238949100

The new fuel tank in my 70 charger does not have those 2 vent lines on the driver side of the tank....but it does have another port coming out near the bottom of the sender. I have that one plugged off.
Is that going to cause a problem?

On a 69 road runner the gas vent closest to the driver side goes up into the trunk, the line runs across the floor does a semi loop then appears to go back out through the floor,as in the b body pics above, yet when I look from the under side I can't see where this line goes Where does it go ? Does it end where it goes back into the floor? Am I missing something? Thanks ,jeff

Yes, It is simply vented to the air just below where it passes thru the floor. That is why parking an old car in an attached garage on a hot day, will not be a pleasant experience, especially with today's nasty gas..

The line goes through a rubber grommet & dumps the fuel vapor inside the frame rail where it seeps out of the holes punched in the bottom of the rail...
