Your craftsmanship is awesome. For me the wood doesn't look right but that's my opinion. To me wood belongs in a boat not a car.

Well the think the Natural shade of the wood looks nice and it doesnt look like that cheap tin..wanted something different and i have always danced to the beat of a different drummer...i dont think tech will have a problem with it unless he is an " OUT OF WORK CARPENTER" Look at all the Guys with original door panels in the cars, they are cardboard backing with vinyl covering..just as flamable as my little pcs of wood..

Well, you get points for creative use of materials. If the wood gives you wood, then that's all that matters.

Nice job....now fab some panels for the exterior sides, put a sufboard on the roof and it will be period correct....LOL

You do very nice work, it's a pleasant change from normal. Now you will have to add a can of lemon pledge to your cache of cleaning supplies,LOL

Nice,,,
I like the covered look a bit more,,maybe something in blue to match...plus it hides stains, scuff marks from getting in and out of the car....and easy to clean...
Nice job...

Well, I'd've never thunk of doing that.

If it don't pass tech, I s'pose you could always stick some .032 (or whatever's legal) aluminum to the backside with some spray glue.

Now, how 'bout painting a blue 'burst pattern on it, just like a huge guitar body?
