no i dont buy everything from year one. but i guess theres a reason there so damn huge!!! u can get almost everything, u do pay a premium for that convenience, but if you have a big order, u get 25 % off and then i have found they are actually less expensive than practically everbody else, but that only works on big orders. tried to return stuff to other companies and they wont. year one will take a dollar part back 8 years later, give you a refund and not even ask a question. Luckily, they exist but i see your point too. but did u really need to blast me for giving my opinion to a guy who asked for it, couldnt you just give yours as well. no one on this site in 8 yrs actually is really trying to help and answer needed questions. u answered a question for me today and i thank you for that. ur one of the exceptions. it seems either no one has the info or noone wants to be bothered to answer anyone. i have several questions posted and will never get an answer, which will make it 40 questions in 8 yrs noone knew the answer too. oh well, its a fun place to waste time typing and get blasted for an opinion. thanks though.

I need to find this little rubber piece that goes on the glove box door stopper. Mine has broken in two.
If you give me an address,it won't cost you anything! And as for Year One,there is nothing they have that you can't get anywhere else for less if you do your homework.

A company that I have found to be VERY knowledgeable and helpful regarding weatherstripping, rubber parts, clips and hardware, among other things is Restoration Specialties & Supply Inc located in Windber PA. I deal with Dave and he has been VERY helpful when I need information or parts for my 1966 Coronet 500. They carry very high quality parts and they will have the rubber glove box bumpers that you are looking for. Here is the link to their web site and their contact information. Most of the stuff year one sells Is not even close to orginal
I still have parts and the invoice papers form late 80's early 90's. Most are NOS parts that dealers could not get. Think back then they bought up NOS parts supplies and made a killing when Ma filed chapter 11 Of corse now lots of the stuff Ihave is repoped As far as the OP I normaly call Tom @ RT.

Try this and it will not cost you anything. Crazy glue works wonders on clean rubber . Make sure the matching ends are real clean. Use some brake cleaner or thinner. Put one drop on one side and hold together about 30 seconds. The bond should be super strong. I have done it before with wonders. I see in your picture that the edge has separated from the mushroom part. Place the mushroom part in the hole of the bracket. Put a small drop on the pin side and hold together in place so you won't have to pull it through the hole once bonded. Jules
Yep Super Glue works better on rubber than anything else... In a pinch back around 76 I Super Glued a Heater Hose together... To my amazement it held... I left it on the car for a few weeks...
