Any-one have the factory specs for 71-72. I recently installed NOS leaf springs and I'm hanging a little bit low to the left.. Thanks!!
Maybe I asked wrong...What is the correct height that the rear should be?, The overall levelness of the entire car...

The height of the rear leaf springs was not adjustable from the factory, so there is no measurement available.

There were a few different kinds of springs, and as long as you have a matched pair everything should be fine.

If it's not fine, Look for the cause of the problem. Some possibilities would be modified or aftermarket front eye hangers, modified or aftermarket shackles, differing tire sizes, Axle not centered on the spring on one side, bent frame rail, etc...

If your pretty sure it's not any of those, I suppose there's a chance you got a bum leaf spring. Set them eyes down side by side on a level surface. Do they match? Put a good amount of weight on one and measure how far it gives, then put that same weight on the other. Does it give the same amount?

NOS parts aren't always perfect.

front car height IS adjustable and directions for doing that are in the factory service manual. Having or creating a level plane to measure from is Very important.

I've just adjusted the torsion bars and BINGO. I was an inch high on right side which made the left rear saggy / uneven on level ground. It sitting nice now, thanks for the input...

People actually argue with me over this. They think somehow that the front can sit level while the rear is lopsided.

It had me wondering if my NOS springs were bad at first. The original right main leaf was cracked all the way through in the front hanger, around the top side on the front hanger, and I didn't know until I removed it. Pretty scary stuff. Once I measured the front it was off an inch too high on the right. A coupla turns of the torsion bar and it sits nice now. I just didn't notice until I changed the springs and maybe the cracked spring was compensating the high right front / misadjusted torsion bars. Shouldn't a good alignment guy adjust the torsion bars while performing an alignment ? I'm not passing blame but a friend advised a good alignment guy should have picked up the height differance. And I spent 3 hours in the alignment place getting it done and I thought he did a fantastic job.

Its actually pretty common. Super Stock springs do it (on purpose) but even stock passenger car suspensions can do it. On my 70 'Cuda (stock springs) have to compromise a bit to split the difference (front end slightly uneven, rear end slightly uneven) if I make either end totally even with T-Bar adjustments the other end is unacceptabley uneven.
My 70 Barracuda was the same way.
