I must say I'm impressed. It's been a long time coming, but well worth the wait. The 340 it replaced ran a best of 7.24 @ 95.04 (1/8) on pump gas with a hydraulic cam. I don't know what this one will run but it's much stronger. The 275/60 M/T ET Street Radials are no match for it, even high gear. I have the 3" mandrel bends for the exhaust and a 950HP ordered for it so I probably wont run it much until everything gets here.

Thanks John Cope for the valve body, Dram for the rotating assembly and RyanJ for the head work .

72 360 block, line honed, square decked, studded main caps, Diamond pistons .005 in the hole, 10.85-1, K-1 steel 4" crank with 2.100 rod journals, Comp Star 6.125" H beam rods. The rotaings assembly is balanced.

The Edelbrock heads were ported by Curits Boggs and freshened by RyanJ with new Ferrea 2.055/1.60 valves, 930 Comp springs, heads milled to 55cc chambers, five angle valve job, they flowed in the low 290/220s after Curtis worked on them.

Hughes 1.6 roller rockers, Hughes push rods, Hughes 260/264 @ .050, .626/.633 flat solid camshaft, in at 102.5*. Cloys true roller chain. Edelbrock Victor 340 intake that's port matched and has had the plenum cleaned up, HVH 1" super sucker, currently has a Quick Fuel Q-750 on it but I have a 950 on the way.
