Getting rid of the single master cylinder on a 66 Coronet, is there a dual that will bolt in its place? Does the rod need to be changed? Looking for a cheap ,easy way to do it...but who aint! By the way it is a race car.

Go with the late model aluminum master cylinder and get the 4-2 adapter plate. Eberg is usually selling them on ebay or in the parts page on here.

Replacement truck master cylinders that look like the aluminum ones and even include the car type resevoir can be used. They're all of $26.00 at Autozone right now. Use one of the 4-2 billet adapters and you're good to go!

As small as they are the weight diff. between the cast iron and aluminum is minimal.

I need to do this on the 66 Charger.

Does any body have a link to Eberg's post or whatnot on the 4 to 2 adapter?

2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab: 5.7, 65RFE, 4.56 gears with locker, Hemifever tuned, AFE intake, 87mm throttle body, JBA headers, 3" Flowmaster exhaust, split to dual 2.5" exits. 13.57 best ET so far.

Searching for new A or B Body Project!
