Hi i am over hauling the front end of my 65 dart and i was wondering what is the proper way in installing the torsion bar so that it does not over tighten when i raise the car. I have it out b/c i replaced the LCA bushing and strut rod bushing with poly. I just wanted to make sure that i when i tighten everything that the t-bar is in the right setting
Thanks
Chris

I believe the only tightening on the torsion bar is related to ride height. Get the ride height the way you want it, be sure the front is level, and that's it.

They just slide in and are held in by a clip in back - the tightening adjusts the ride height.

Be sure to grease both ends well. A dry bar can break.

FWIW - last time I did this I was told to have the LCA in full drop position when you insert the T-bar.

If you don't, you could run the risk of sliding the bar one face off on the hex end.
