For better or worse I've always run Champions, but with the fuel that's available a couple of heat ranges higher than the factory called for. So, in your case that would probably be a J12Y (old number). Remember each car is different.

LOL!! +1 I tried a few others but she works great with the RJ12YC.....I gapped mine to .045 as I run the MSD 6AL box. Mine is a 440 with 906 heads. Family owned 1969 Charger R/T DualQuad 440/727/GVO/3.55s

Popped them out last week when I pulled out the motor and they are in great shape, plug is still really clean. Not bad for an unopened, tired smogger 440. Before that I was running champions and found I had to change them every year.
