Does anybody know what is the best glue for repairing broken or split E body oem interior panels?
I've had some luck with contact cement but just wondering if anybody has found something better.

Thanks
Doug

This subject has been touched on a number of times here.
There isn't a glue that works real well.
The plastic compound that the panels are made from doesn't accept glue well, and the panels are stressed a bit when attached to the doors so that they end up recracking.

East wood garage sell's what is called plastex .This will fix any plastic and never break you can get in colors but standard is black . How it works is you drop the one part clear liquid into a plastic dust and it melts instantly and is spredable or hit it with a 2nd drop and its flow's more then within one minute its hard and 10 minuts its rock hard. good luck.

This is about the only stuff in the world that will reliably bond polyethelyne and polypropylene.

Most serious body shop suppliers carry the stuff. It's expensive, but it works.

I use Fusor for plastic repairs, bonding metal to plastic, etc... I'm sure they would carry something that would work. However like 3m and others, they have their own special gun you need to buy and it's not cheap.
