So I have an old set of Cal-Custom valve covers cleaned, painted black wrinkle painted, baffles installed, breathers on etc. Then I go to put them on my new heads and they won't clear the Hugh's billet holdowns. So do I trim the holdowns or find a set of valve covers that fit around them Do the Indy covers clear them or some of the fabricated units out there Any thoughts?

I can tell you the Indy covers clear the MP hold downs..Didn't see the RAS/Hughes hold downs till after I found a set of the MP's slightly used...
