The top bulb on the faster cars side will also stay lit until his side of the tree comes down.

I have never used a delay box. Can someone explain how you can hit the tree more than once? Will the box turn off if you press the button again and act like it would with no brake and leave when you lift off the button again on the last bulb?

can we go back to the 5 bulb tree, so i can hit it that many times.
Or go to a pro tree, and leave all the electronic crap in video games where they belong.

That sounds good on paper but it would cause some problems as well. If you stage your Roadrunner, Cuda, Dart, etc., against a dragster or tube chassis car on a pro tree..... you are going to get waxed on a steady basis.
Lighter cars and non suspended cars will react much quicker than a typical back halved or leaf sprung bracket car. I like the IDEA of a pro tree also, but it's a lot more complicated than that.

the problem i have with cross talk is i'm a footbraker, proclass no electronics.when i go into super pro if i'm the faster car it really screws up reaction time.top bulb stays on awyhere from 1-2 seconds the drops.running that class with out a box is hard enough without having the tree screw with you.
I dont know if all tracks do it BUT put a N on your windshield for "no cross talk" this wont get you the top light popping on till its for your side of the tree
