i,m looking for best et, i,ve got a 6 pack hood on it now that weighs 25 lbs and a cowl hood that weighs 67 lbs/ with hinges. wondering if enough air will pass over to pick up any et, i sometime wonder if the 6 pack hood will stay on @ 150, catchs alot of air

I went from a lift off 6 pack hood to a bolt on 5" cowl hood and didn't see any difference in ET or MPH. Not back to back tests, but the car ran the same as it always had for the given weather conditions.
I also had trouble with the 6 pack hood lifting and looking like it was going to explode off the car at speed. No more worrying about that happening with the cowl. CHIP

6pack on my car was about 2 tenths quicker. My cowl didn't reach back to the windshield. I have heard that's how a cowl hoods works the best.

Back to back runs my car was 1/10th faster with the 6 pack over the cowl. I have an aero hood that looked like it wanted to go for a ride the last time I used it.

sounds like the 6 pack hoods the best, but looks like a chute like that would have to slow a car down
