Just checked Compression on my 318 and found something i don't like...Motor was warm,Throttle wide open, Charged battery and these were the numbers..

#1 130
#2 130
#3 130
#4 130
#5 130
#6 105
#7 135
#8 130

#6 is weak and i squirted oil in the cylinder and it came up to 125, bad ring's? It has 10:1 flat tops and a .528 solid cam, do those numbers sound kinda low? Thanks.

I thought I recently heard that the cylinders should be within 10% of each other to be considered good. The factory manual may say what is acceptable or maybe one of the engine guys here will chime in. But could be rings, like you said.

#6 isn't happy. I'd check the valve lash and see if it's tight. Otherwise, you are going to have to live with it a while or pull it down...

I didn't build the motor so no idea if the cam was degreed, I adjusted the valves about 200 miles ago, don't think there is a problem there.
