I found a set of 20" caltracs that came off a 65 b-body. Does anyone know if they will work on a 70 Challenger? I can call Calvert in the morning but was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge on these?

You could always just buy the 22" bars from Calvert Racing if the 20" A-body length does not work for you. It's been several years, but I remember paying $60 for an extra pair of bars from Travis.

I run that exact setup....20" cal-tracs from a mid 60's B-body with 20" front segment mono-leafs. You need the extended Mopar performance spring hangers that are meant for use with Superstock springs (those also have a 20" front segment).

If you want to use a 22" front segment spring then you need to do as blues_cuda mentioned above.

I've seen guys cut and weld 2" into the bar or buy new bar or use mp hanger for SS springs as stated above. I started with the 20 inch then when I went mono went 22

I run 20" CalTracs w/ their mono-leaf springs and a set of ARE (AndyF's company) 2" extended front E-body hangers. I stayed w/ the 20" front segment because I switched from SS springs and didn't have any OEM front spring hangers to use w/ the 22" version.

Thank you all. I just emailed the seller and made the deal. Now the question is....... Which works better? Keeping them 20" or extending them to 22"?

20" CAL TRAC BARS ARE THE TICKET.
YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED,THE 22" CAL TRAC BAR IS FOR LATE MODEL B BODY OR F BODY.

That's interesting. When I bought mine I had the 20" front hangers from my SS spring setup and I asked Calvert which spring would be optimum and he said go 22". So I had to buy new hangers.
