I am tempted to pick up a set for a 440 Duster. They have the 14" case length I am looking for.

Anyone ever run one of these "Borla ProXS Mufflers"? From what I can tell they are straight-through AND baffled. I am not sure how that works, I cant find any section or cut away views of them.

Any help?

Longram60 has some on his 60 Fury. He has a 451 stroker that is into the high twelves. It is a wicked sounding ride when he stands on it!

I have those on my 440 charger. They are straight through and not baffled. It sounds good but is quieter than most performance mufflers. It drones a little around 3,000 rpm.

I have to tone this down a little bit:

Are they packed with insulation?

I ran them before and loved them. Had them on a Pro Street Dart with a Stroked SB. 3 1/2 " pipes to 4" mufflers.

These type of straight through baffled mufflers are confusing to me. Is there really any difference between these and a 3" Dynamax Ultra flow? I would say no. Maybe someone knows more than I do.

not baffled generally means no insulation.

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.
