Aren't the 70's different from 71-74? I thought I read on here that the 70's were curved and the other years weren't.

I believe all Challenger should be curved. I have a brand new, from Chrysler, set of L & R E body repro door handles. In the heat of the moment, I "forgot" that my Challenger should have the curve in them. I could return them but any-one wanna trade out my brand new Cuda ones for Chally ones?

I'd prefer the contoured handles on my car as those are origianlly the ones I have on there. My car was a very early build 72 car, August 10 of 71 and has a bunch of 71 parts on it. I guess 10 days into production for 72 they were using up all the 71 parts laying around. I hear Jules restores these correct handles...Jules you there?

Yes I am.
I stopped doing them once the repros came out.
I could not match their price although mine are triple chrome plated.
I could do your set if you wish to keep your originals.
Email me.

These handles were only used on '70 & '71 Challengers and are contoured for the Challenger door. They were replaced in '72 with the handles that fit both 'cudas & Challengers and were not contoured to the door.

I'd also like to add that as far as I know, the door itself was not changed, so If you'd like handles that fit the shape of the door, get the contoured ones.

In addition, the 70-71 barracuda handles were curved the other direction.

The handles follow the shape of the door skin.

I got my repro Challenger handles from Fredericks Dodge, and They have DCS embossed on the back side. (Dales Cuda Shop)

Correct. The contour of the door did not change. Just the handles Ma Mopar put on it.

Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.
