What is recommended torque on fleplate to crank bolts? 8 bolt flexplate and should I use loctite?

The thread on these bolts is 7/16-20 correct?

Yes. I know you can probably crank them up to 75 ft/lbs. but, IIRC
the Service Manual says 55 so, that's what I've always used. I
never had one break or come loose.

You sure they're not 1/2 inch bolts on an 8 bolt flange?

Actually, I'm not sure. All of my bolt packages are for 6-bolt stuff.

I appologize if I've misinformed anybody.

1/2-20, I'd go 75 ft/lbs.
