Well my cuda is on it's way to it's new home in Neveda. I picked up a 1970 dodge challenger that I am going to build into a stock eliminator car. I've always dreamed of running stock so this is my chance. The car isn't perfect but it will be when I am done with it. This morning I ordered all new interior for it. then as soon as I get that it's getting a new chrome moly bar put in it.
I'm going to order a dana 60 for it as well as some cal-tracs with split mono leafs. I will keep everyone posted with pics and updates...if anyone is intrested lol. I'm just so excited for a new project like this! Not to mention I love cudas and challengers!!!!

Some info on the car. original 4 speed car with A/C and electric windows...that still work! The car isn't getting cut up or anything so no worries.

Man, I like Cuda's and your old one, but I have a real soft spot for 70 Challengers...N0t so much for 71 years on up but the 70 Model is about as fine as you can get...
What motor combo do you plan to go with....
For the guys thats out of the loop, give us a quick rundown on some of the rules involved with building a stock eliminator. Engine mods etc...

I got friends that can get you in touch with Jerry Newsome (check my spelling on that). He is the man when it comes to running a Challenger in stock.

Good luck stock elim racing!! Same BS there as SS/AH. If you are on the west coast, easy guru's are Steve Wann and Don Little. Big block or small.

Chris,
Hope it meets your expectations!! Can't help but feel I missed out on an opportunity...Really liked your Cuda a bunch. I have a 70 R/T Challenger in the back yard, Orange with 383. Didn't have a clue you were going in that direction!! Funny, I like Cudas way more than Challengers, but always seem to end up with Challys!!

My brother and I have spent 15 years running Super classes, while eying all the stockers, saying...someday...!!
He's landed a nice 65 Valiant Conv. and we are gathering parts for a group effort right now.

So...what are you thinking 383?? 440 4bbl, or Six Pack? Hemi??

Oh man! I would have to loved to own a real R/T. But I am going to make mine a R/T clone and do a 440 4bbl. I'm going to run the 440 I have out of my cuda and get the car dialed in while im building the stocker engine. The stocker is going to cost a little more then my lowly bracket engine i suppose lol.

Are those pictures from Firebird, just outside Eagle, ID? My brother lives in Eagle and I've driven by the track, but never actually been to the track itself.
