my hub/wheel bearings are toast, anyone know the torque specs. for the spindle nut? i'm on my way out the door now to price the hubs. thanks-jeff

I don't know off the top of my head, but I have a 98 Dakota FSM at home, I'll look it up when I get home tonight to let you know what the factory calls for...I think it's around 70-80 ft lbs? I don't know...might be more though.

Page 2-10 of the FSM calls out for 185 ft lbs for the nut that holds the hub onto the spindle. whew, that's a lot!

and FYI, the 4wd trucks are a little different, on page 2-17, it says to install the hub, torque the bolts to 123 ft lbs, and then install the axle nut, and torque it to 173 ft lbs.
