Talked to a guy at the club meeting from Orange County and he said he owned a real B7 blue 70 Hemi Cuda race car that was called Magnum Force or run under Magnum Force racing? and bought from a police officer in Cerritos in 1978 or so.

That run a bell with me.

I've seen the picture of the members dad's 70 Charger with a huge magnum handgun on the side of it. But this guy said this Cuda didn't have that kind of lettering on it. And he said the guy didn't have a 70 Charger at the time. I figure it's gotta be the same police officer/racer?

Yep - that's me. But, my dad never owned a Cuda - just the Charger. When he sold it, he had it repainted black with gold pinstriping and the words "Magnum Force" were in small script on the rear quarter panel.

I don't remember seeing another "Magnum Force" car other than the funny car that started appearing around 1974. My dad put the MF name on the car in 1972 - and the movie with Clint came out I think in 1973.
