Probably been asked before but we are installing plugs to fill holes in an Edelbrock intake, do you need to put anything on them, such as RTV or such to prevent a leak? Some are on the area near the radiator hose and have to seal in collant, some would just be in the air area.

Also, I can't remember what I hears a while back, do you torque the bolts 35LBS, same as a steel intake?

I would use some teflon paste thread sealant, or anti-seize...so if you ever need to get them out, they will not be galled in.

I've just used regular black rtv without problem.
