Can't find the NHRA rule book. I wanted to see if there is an et or mph limit when using a stock gas tank.

If anyone has the time to look it up would you please let me know.

This is for an A-Body.

I do not have the rule book with me but I have read this resently. I am going to say there is no limit for a stock gas tank as long as all the other fuel system rules are followed.

FWIW, If you have a Dana with an aluminum cover, it will hit the stock gas tank.

i could have sworn the rule back specifically states that when using a stock oem gas tank, the E.T. can NOT be any quicker than the car can actually go and the MPH is limited to exactly half as much as twice as much.

Hi
your Dart should have an external gas cap, why don't you try this. I have a sender hooked the the stock gas gauge, It's nice not having to open the trunk all the time like you said.

Looks great !!!!!!!!
Only problem I can see with it is not knowing when it is full, short of filling till the tube is full. AAlot of times when filling out of a jug it isn't going fast enough to gurgle.

Hi
that's why I put the sender in, it doesn't read the full sweep of the chry gauge but as long as I know where empty is and full is it works great!
