Although not a Mopar I hope you can help me. I'm working on a F350 and the front pump bushing and seal need to be replaced. Can the front pump be r&r'd with the trans horizontial? I seem to remember years ago I tried this and had a hard time putting it back in. IIRC I had to stand the trans on the tail shaft to get this to line up. thanks

Stand it up & don't put the weight on the tailshaft support it by the case... Lots of guys use a garbage can... I had a Trans table with a raised lip on the front edge that I hang the trans off a couple bolts on the pan rail..
