Whats the CFM on a stock 69 RR 383 AVS carb? Looking at a Performer RPM for a 440/727 and carb. Whats a good combo? Thunder AVS 800 any good? Mild engine, currently Edelbrock Perf with stock carb. Thanks.

It was 630 on the 383. An 800 should be fine on a 440 with the air door adjustment.

I want my fair share

Get a 750DP and be done. The 800 thunder is ok, but the DP runs circles around it.

Well if that were the case niether the Holley nor the Edlebrock would fill the bill, you'd need a vintage AVS for that. If going with a new EB AVS At the very least you'd want to peel off the bright red EB tag and blast the shine off the housing (stock appearance being the goal).
