Last week or two occ notice after I drive the car and it's warm. It I get back in after 10-25 min it cranks but won't start. Sometime it starts and dies.

Haven't looked at anything yet. Will this weekend.

Where should I start?

Plugs, fuel filter?

Resent shop replaced timing belt/water pump and A/C compressor.

Always starts cold.
When it won't start I just wait another 10 or 15 min and go.

WTH?

Is your Stratus a 4 or 6 cylinder?

Most of time it is the crank sensor that fails to send good signal, could be the coil sitting on top the vavle cover (2.4 liter). Really needs to occur when the crank signal can be monitored by a diagnostic computer.
