In the past several months on e-bay, there were two for sale. One was in NJ and was TX9 with a silver roof if I remember correctly, and the other was TX9 with a white roof out of NM or AZ. Both were 383 4-spd cars.
The one out of NJ has been for sale for quite sometime if it's the same one I saw (Vinney was the seller?). Don't know about the one out west but there must be very few still out there. Maybe some Mopar collectors have them stuffed away somewhere. Thanks for the info.

Green with a white top would be a nice combo. Here's a painted top Satellite I picked up last year. Y2 body with an F8 top.
An association of men who will not quarrel with one another is a thing which has never yet existed, from the greatest confederacy of nations down to a town meeting or a vestry.

I just don't remember seeing these 2 tone paint cars back in 69. Either they didn't have any in Indiana or I was drunk most of the time, those were my stupid days!

Ya mean this one?
Yes, that's the one and the sellers name was Vinny. The other one was a RM21 383 4-spd 3.91 car and super clean rust-free. It was around $25k and did not sell at the time. I loved the combo, but my buddies said it looked too much like a cop car
I like looking at cop cars, from the outside only please. I've got over $25K in mine right now, not including the cost of the car, and it hasn't been to the body shop yet where I'll spend another $25K-$30K. Yikes, I'm in trouble.

As long as you realize you'll never sell it at a profit you'll be ok .

Yes, it was Vinny's. I wish I could own it.
In addition, Vinny was a VERY nice guy - more hobbyists should be like him.

I know a guru with the mopar collector market and he thinks the car should bring $65K +/- in a good market because of it's rarity and the fact it's a numbers matching car with build sheet and tag. We'll see what happens when the market turns around. Think we can get some of our government stimulus money injected into our hobby? Someone please call Washington.
and you believe that story?

my 71 was originally B5/W3 2 toned...i think the 2 tone paint is cool, but only in certain combinations...a little different look than having a vinyl top.

I believe and trust very few people but stranger things have happened. If you told someone in 2000 that Hemi Cuda's would be selling at $3,000,000 plus in 2003/2004, they would have laughed you off the planet. So what will my car be worth next year? Whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Or I could have a white elephant but at least it will be a cool white elephant.

As with anything, it depends on what a buyer is looking for. I have a Hemi car and if I had the $$$ I wouldn't be in the market for another.
