Early 440 Decoding #368665

I have a 1966 440 engine. Engine was cast 6/29/65 at night. The ID pad has B440 with a maltese cross. then below that are is: 10 1. I can't find out what the 10 and the 1 are. I was hoping one of you mopar veterans could help.

A 1966 440, that would be an early bird. The 10 1 is probably the date that the engine was assembled. October the 1st.

I have a B426 wedge block here in the shop. 1966 must have been an odd year with stuff being built that wasn't widely available.
