Went to Ubly Dragway on Saturday for some 1/8 MI Shakedown runs.

Best run was 6.28 @ 111.11 ---- 1.49 60"

No Traction on any of the 5 passes made.
I pulled 10* of timing out for 1.4 Seconds on the TransBrake.
I ran 36.5* of timing and Short Shifted at 6500.
A/F was showing 11.5..

What I learned was:
* I need to get my Irons Racing Suspension in.
* I need to get my Irons Racing Suspension in.
* It wants 2 More degrees Timing.
* I need to shift at 7400.
* I need to take some Jet out.
* I need to get my Irons Racing Suspension in.

All in all.. I'm tickled with it.

Awesome that you got her going again Sounds like it's going to really fly once you get it all rung out with the Irons goodies.

Is Ubly strictly 1/8th mile now or can you t&t 1/4?

Bubba, since you've put so much emphasis on our system, and your thread has one foot in the grave anyway, I'll take this opportunity to share our latest, redesigned system that your car will soon be getting. It's stronger, lighter, more compact, and all around better.

Our website is not yet updated with this latest major redesign, so you've seen it here first

The big block book is finished and in print so my next project is a Mopar suspension and handling book. I'll have to remember to include your stuff when I get to the rear suspension chapter. Looks like cool stuff and I hadn't seen any of that before.

Listen.... Do I need to steal your girlfriend away for 30 Seconds again?

....and another thing. You better fix the clock on your computer. I know your mommy doesn't let you stay up past 9:30 PM.

My biggest mistake going to ladder bar was NOT jumping up to new frame rails to allow more tire. I have mine mini tubbed to the frame and rolled the inner fender lip and a 10.5 is all she wrote.

10.5 is plenty of tire, if your car works. Look how fast guys are going in the 8" tire shootouts.

More tire is better for a bracket race car. And you can always bolt on 10.5 tires for a class race. Tires work better, last longer, etc. Also, I would suggest building the wheel well to fit up to 33" dia. tire.

..Oh I'm sure more tire would be better but I think trying to do it on a 10.5 is much funnier.
